Beerensgas specialize in providing LNG to remote and rural locations, especially to locations with no other choice of processing and heating. Beerensgas focuses on LNG supply chain serving “stranded demand,” where off-the-grid customers lack access to pipelines.

Beerensgas is the pioneer in perfecting this process and the first in the world to ship LNG ISO tanks from Europe to China.

The economic impact and the benefits created by the small-scale LNG are largely driven by investments in the infrastructure, vessels and trucks market. With the change of mindset and policies, the truck owners will invest in the new LNG trucks and the ship owners will invest in the new carrier vessels. Meanwhile, the cost of converting an existing vessel to LNG vessel is high, but due to the strict emission regulations on the bunkering fuel used by existing vessels, the operators are paying the premium and balancing their existing fleet.

Small-scale LNG plants are used in targeting the small gas fields. Apart from that, they are also used as peak shaving systems that liquefy, store and regasifying gas according to the demand. They help in shortening the distances from the customers. The satellite stations, which are used for gas storage, peak shaving and delivery points, give advantage to the small-scale LNG supply chain.

Beerensgas maintain a network of connections around the energy industry to ensure that they are able to maximize all opportunities. The need for natural gas, especially gas that can be distributed in an efficient way, will only increase over time.
